These are wonderful places to visit and shop at -- for much more than just our meat!  Greenling, can take care of your delivery needs for all things local and organic.  They also service an area farther out from Austin than we can.

Royal Blue Grocery, Thai Fresh and Wheatsville are great places to hang out for a quick bite and to pick up wonderful items that are seldom available at the "big box" groceries.  They are also just plain fun to visit.

Meanwhile, if you are thinking of joining a CSA - Community Supported Agriculture - BCC works with two - Green Gate Farms and Farmhouse Delivery.  Both of these have events and classes, and are always welcoming during the various growing seasons for visits to see where "real" food is grown!

And, of course, if you're in Bastrop, you just have to visit Jacque at Bastrop Producers Market - a great grocery store/farmers market,  and us at the Bastrop 1832 Farmers Market!
