This $400 deposit holds your place in line for a half or whole cow and is deducted from your final total. This deposit is entirely refundable if anything changes before you receive your order.
Average turnaround times are between 2-3 weeks, but you can always place a deposit for a specific date down the road. The waitlist can get longer at our busy times of the year.

Current Pricing:
Half Cow - $9.25/lb hanging weight
(An average sized half cow at 200 lbs would be $1850 total)
Whole Cow - $8.70/lb hanging weight
(An average sized whole cow at 400 lbs would be $3480 total)
As always, we do not charge sales tax and there are no hidden/additional fees.

The Process:
You place your deposit.
When we have available weights (usually within 1 week of your deposit) we send an email to you to select which weight you’d like.
We schedule a time to go over your cut page on the phone and tailor the cut page to your cooking style and preferences.
We notify you when its ready and schedule either a delivery or a pickup depending on your location! Your remaining balance is due upon receipt.
How to receive your order:
Delivery: We offer a free delivery of your order to Austin, San Antonio, Bastrop and all surrounding areas. (Yes this includes Georgetown, Leander, San Marcos, Driftwood, Seguin, Boerne, etc.)
Pickup: We offer free pickup at our ranch in Bastrop or at our warehouse in Schulenberg.
For customers outside of our delivery area in Texas, UPS shipping is available for an additional $1.20/lb. Other areas for shipping will need to be priced out individually.

Half Cows are $9.25/lb. hanging weight. Average weights range between 180-220 lbs
An average sized half cow at 200 lbs would be $1770 totalWhole cows are $8.70/lb. hanging weight. Average weights range between 360-440 lbs
An average sized whole cow at 400 lbs would be $3320 totalWe do not charge sales tax, and do not include any additional fees in the base price
We accept Credit, Check or Cash. Your remaining balance is due upon delivery.
Turnaround Times
Average turnaround is 2-4 weeks from deposit to delivery/pickup
Weight selections are sent out via email usually 1-2 weeks after deposit
Packaging Details
An average half cow will take 8-9 cu ft of space in a freezer
All cuts are individually vacuum sealed and labeled by our Tx state inspected butcher
Your order will be packed frozen into cardboard boxes, and includes an inventory sheet with all of your cuts listed
Pick Up Tips
A half cow will easily fit in the backseat of a car or in the trunk
Coolers are great, but not necessary if the beef is traveling inside the vehicle under 3 hours
Dry Ice is not necessary. If you prefer to use ice, keep them in the bags and lay on top of the beef.
